Ilya is a writer, director, and actor working across film and theatre, creating atmospheric stories driven by characters and expressive visual language. Blending naturalism with surreal imagery, his work explores identity, memory, masculinity, and human connection through emotionally charged worlds.

He holds a Master’s in Writing for Performance from the University of Cambridge and is a co-founder of the Threepenny Collective. His work has been showcased at Cannes Festival, Hollyshort Film Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe and the Avignon OFF-Festival.
